Alim Kassam Director of Financial Services

With a solid foundation in commercial real estate banking, Alim has worked with Alberta’s largest land developers and successfully managed loan portfolios in excess of $600 million. With this wealth of knowledge, he now provides assistance to ProCura’s President in corporate financing, financial due diligence, and investment analysis for the firm’s private equity fund.

Alim holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is Chartered Financial Analyst Level III. In his spare time Alim enjoys playing hockey and travelling.

Rodney T. Leeson Vice President of Operations

Prior to joining ProCura, Rodney worked in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry for tier one brand organizations in Toronto. Rodney brings over a decade of experience with senior Operations and General Management leadership. In addition, he has numerous years' of involvement with senior roles in Business Development and Marketing. Rodney's strength is strategically guiding organizational resources to create value for stakeholders.

After a 30 year hiatus, Rodney has reacquainted himself with the world of motorcycling and recently purchased a BMW motorcycle.

Michael Shipley Vice President, Construction

With over 25 years of experience in Calgary's development and construction industry, Michael has a diverse background and knowledge in real estate. His experiences range in business management, inner city high-rise commercial construction, recreational land development and high-density residential development and construction. "The building process excites me, taking raw land and creating a development that leaves an enduring mark for future generations"

Having the benefit and experience of working both on the owner developer side and also with a large general contracting company, Michael has successfully managed all aspects of construction and development of many large mixed-use commercial / residential high-rise projects in Alberta and British Columbia.

Michael prides himself on his professionalism; he holds well-developed people and project management skills with strong team oriented leadership abilities, effective decision-making and creative problem solving. His interests include golf, outdoor activities and spending the summer months at the lake with his family.
